American hip hop legend Busta Rhymes, has collected 10 original large-scale artworks created by Chanelle Rose, to use as his album cover artwork, and throughout the advertising and promotion of his highly anticipated album ‘ELE2 The Wrath of God’.

The artworks created feature a series of suited skull characters, depicted in Chanelle’s signature contemporary street style. The album cover character has also gone on to feature in Busta’s album cinematic trailer. 

Busta Rhymes first encountered Chanelle’s artwork through her Instagram, via hip hop recording artist and producer Swizz Beatz, who shared her large-scale contemporary pieces on his page @therealswizzz.

The promotional campaign has been incredibly big, with the album artwork displayed all over the world. The artwork has featured in Times Square New York, cruising around on buses in England, on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon, and on billboards worldwide.

The album was released on the 30th October 2020 ‘Halloween’ (NY, USA) and features other prominent artists such as Kendrick Lamar, Anderson Paak, Mary J Blige, and Mariah Carey.

The album itself has been referred to as a ‘Classic Masterpiece’, and was streamed more than 33 million times in the first week of its release.
